IELTS Listening Part 5 - Practice Yourself!

As well as being a great resource to practice and build your general listening skills, the internet is also a fantastic resource to help you improve specific listening skills for the IELTS test.

Here are some specific skills you need in the Listening test and links to help you practise IELTS tasks:

Spelling and Numbers
Make sure you are completely familiar with the alphabet and with numbers. Do you know how to say different types of numbers in English? This is not always as easy as it seems - for example the number 0 can be said in several different ways in English, depending on the context. Names, dates and times are other areas that can cause problems. These activities can help you practise.
